 | | In case you missed it...Palm Beach Schools recently made a change to the 2019-2020 academic calendar. Due to the Presidential Preference Primary, there will be no school on Tuesday, March 17. In addition, students will return from spring break on Monday, March 30, instead of Tuesday, March 31. Visit the District's website for details and an updated calendar. |

Our Bobcats had a great showing at County-level competition in the National PTA Reflections Art Program - which recognizes outstanding achievement in a variety of creative media. Boca High's Graduation Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 16, at 6:00 p.m. at the South Florida Fairgrounds! All Palm Beach County Schools' graduation ceremonies will be broadcast live on The Education Network (T.E.N.), Comcast Channel 235 and AT&T Channel 99, and will also stream live online with closed captioning. Universal Studios Orlando Grad Bash tickets will be available for sale for $150 on School Cash Online beginning on January 6. (Lower-cost tickets are available for students who qualify for free/reduced-price lunch.) Please note that payment does not secure your seat on the bus! Bus sign ups will take place during both lunches in front of the media center from January 13 through January 31. You must bring your payment receipt AND a permission slip signed by a parent/guardian - even if you are 18. (Blank permission slips can be found outside room 4-216.) Bus assignments will not be changed, and once buses are full no more Grad Bash tickets can be purchased. Be sure to visit the scholarship page on our PTSA website to view all 12 of the scholarship bulletins issued by the Boca High College and Career Center. |

Boca High will host a Curriculum Night on Tuesday, January 21, at 6:30 p.m. in the Kathryn Lindgren Theatre. Parents and students are invited to learn about course options, in-house academies, the AICE Diploma, graduation requirements, and more. AICE students who want to re-take or take an extra AICE exam this spring must pay for the exam on School Cash Online. (Search for 'AICE.') The Cambridge exam fee is $105.00, and the deadline for payment is January 31, 2020. Payment will confirm your exam registration. Please note: This fee is only for students who are re-taking or taking an extra AICE exam. If you are enrolled in an AICE class, you do not need to pay for the exam. Our Boys Varsity Soccer team has a 12-0-0 record, and is currently ranked #16 in the nation and #7 in the state! Cheer them on at their upcoming home games - January 7 at 4:00 p.m. vs. FAU High, and January 8 at 8:00 p.m. vs. Jupiter High. Kudos to the Competitive Cheer team for winning their Regional Championship! Girls Varsity Soccer has a 5-1-3 record and is ranked #2 in the district. Don't miss their next home game, set for January 8 at 6:00 p.m. vs. Jupiter High. Track & Field tryouts will take place at Bobcat Stadium from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on January 21, 22 and 23. Congratulations to Coach Brandon Walker for being named Boca High Athletic Director! He will replace AD Matthew Ryder, who accepted a position in Illinois. |

The Boca High Drama Department needs your donations to make their annual Rummage Sale a success! Call or text 813-417-5572 to arrange for pick up of your gently-used items. The sale will take place on Saturday, February 1, from 8am to 4pm in the Kathryn Lindgren Theatre, and proceeds will benefit Boca Drama programs. Thank you for your support!
PTSA Student Involvement will meet on Wednesday, January 15, in the Band room during both lunches. Club pictures will be taken on Monday, January 13, from 8am to 3pm in the gym.
